Golden Age Foundation
Give Where You Live
People can celebrate friends and family on special occasions by making a contribution in their names to the Golden Age Foundation (GAF). The gift will help those recognized share in the knowledge that they are helping provide important services to the community.
Another way people can donate to the GAF by making a memorial donation. An acknowledgement will be sent to the family.
People will also receive an acknowledgement with the necessary information for reporting the donations on tax forms.
People can send commemorative or memorial contributions to The Golden Age Foundation, P.O. Box 2369. Seal Beach, CA 90740.
Third Quarter Report
From September through November, 427 shareholders shopped at Ralphs grocery stores with the Community Rewards Program to bring $1,486.98 to the Golden Age Foundation. It is the highest number of shoppers since the GAF began the program going from 412 to 427 people.
The Ralphs Community Rewards program is free. Once people sign up, all they have to do is shop for groceries as they regularly do, and Ralphs will donate a percentage of the money spent to the GAF, at no extra cost to the shopper.
The GAF thanks everyone who registered for the program, as well as the GAF board members volunteered on Wednesdays to help residents sign up in person.
Although the GAF will no longer offer in-person assistance in signing up for the program, residents can do so online. Go to www.ralphs.com/i/community/community-contribution-program,
Then type in the GAF’s nonprofit organization (NPO) ID, FS519 to complete signing up.
The GAF is a nonprofit, charitable organization (tax ID 237273105) that has made a positive impact in the Leisure World community since 1973. For information, visit at www.goldenagefdn. org or call 562-431-9589.
