Sunshine Club

Dr. Stefanie Bennett, LAc, Ph.D. will speak to the Sunshine Club about the acupuncture and functional medicine on Friday, Dec. 13, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

Bennett holds a master’s and Ph.D. in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She is the owner of Bennett Acupuncture and Functional Medicine, serving the people of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.

Bennett has been in practice for over 20 years. As one of the top acupuncturists in Fountain Valley, she’s worked alongside internal medicine doctors within a medical group for 10 years treating complex chronic conditions.

Through this practice, Bennett learned the importance of co-managing care with patients’ primary care providers. She believes keeping an open dialogue with primary care providers and specialists is the best way to ensure patients receive the treatment that best benefits them. In fact, internists, pain man- agement specialists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, and other types of MDs regularly refer their patients to Bennett for Chinese and integrative medicine.

All shareholders are welcome to join this meeting. Sunshine Club requires no membership fees, but donations are welcome. Refreshment will be served.
