A defective smoke detector was activated; no fire.

• Nov. 28, 6:32 p.m., St. Andrews Drive and Interlachen Road

A parked vehicle belonging to a non-resident’s engine caught fire and destroyed the vehicle.

COYOTE INCIDENTS: 7

MISDEMEANOR THEFT (less than $950 in value): 10

An unknown person removed a license plate from a resident’s vehicle.

•Nov. 5, 8:47 a.m., Mutual 1

An unknown person removed a 4x6 notebook from a desk drawer in a spare bedroom.

•Nov. 7, 1:06 p.m., Pool

An unknown person removed a resident’s wallet from a backpack.

•Nov. 7, 1:15 p.m., Mutual 10

A resident stated an unknown person removed a package from a porch 13 days earlier.

An unknown person removed two bags of recycled cans from the carport area.

An unknown person removed a wrought-iron decorative item from front of residence.

An unknown person removed a decal sticker from the rear window of a resident’s truck.

An unknown person removed residents’ ladder from their carport area.

An unknown person removed a manila envelope on a resident’s porch. Resident stated value of contents of envelope totaled $1,000.

VANDALISM: 5

•Nov. 1, 1:50 p.m., Mutual 1

A resident stated scratches were found on her vehicle that could have been made in LW or the Ralphs parking lot.

•Nov. 3, 12:25 p.m., Mutual 8

A resident reported 14 days ago she observed her screen door halfway open, and someone tampered with doorknob. No entry was made, nothing removed.

An unknown person scratched the side of resident’s vehicle.

An unknown person damaged a political sign by throwing the sign at the resident’s front door.

A resident complained of neighbor’s loud wind chimes. The neighbor will remove wind chimes during windy days.

A resident heard a neighbor screaming. No emergency, Security advised resident.

Ongoing noise complaint regarding noise from neighboring unit.

A resident complained about a neighbor slamming doors in their residence.

Loud music complaint; no noise detected.

A resident stated workers are in her attic making noise.

No noise detected, or workers found.

A resident complained about construction noise in a neighboring unit. Construction was allowed during that time, Security advised neighbor.

A resident complained of ongoing late-night noise in neighboring unit.

•Nov. 24, 4:11 p.m., Mutual 15

A resident complained of children making noise in neighboring unit. Security advised neighbor and the volume of noise was reduced.

A resident complained of person walking on the roof. Security did not find anyone.

An unauthorized visitor refused to leave. Police were called and the person was taken to hospital by paramedics.

A resident and Mutual president were in a dispute over gardening service.

A resident stated unknown person disturbed her mail, but no items were taken.

A woman entered the community on foot without identifying herself and was escorted off the property.

A resident stated someone was living in their attic. No one was found.

A resident involved Security employee in a verbal altercation regarding use of car wash after hours.

Ongoing complaint from resident stating someone was living in their attic.

A resident was upset regarding her customer service experience at the Superwire office. Security kept the peace.

Security was advised of an unauthorized visitor. Security escorted person out of the com munity.

Security assisted gym personnel in enforcing gym rules
