Karaoke will go dark during holidays

COMMUNITY KARAOKE

Clubhouse 1 was abuzz with karaoke singers and guests on Dec. 4, listening to beautiful ballads sung by Richard Yokomi, Kyung Ju, Essie Hicks, Barbie May and others.

Toe tappin’ tunes are the choices of Frank Miller, Karen Morris, Wayne Urban and Shannon Harrison. “Unchained Melody” by Anna Lam was stunning. Joan Rosenberg & David Noble joined in singing “Summer Wine.”

A newcomer, Young Ro, sang a nice “San Francisco.” Group singing is a popular closing of the evening for the late crowd.

The Community Karaoke Club Christmas party was Dec. 11. Karaoke will be dark during the holiday weeks of Christmas and New Years. No practice sessions will be held on Monday, Dec. 23 and 30.
