FILIPINO ASSOCIATION OF LEISURE WORLD

The Filipino Association of Leisure World (FALW) is busy preparing for its annual Simbang Gabi celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 18, in Clubhouse 2 at 5 p.m. This celebration is a devotional Mass that traditionally takes place at dawn. The Christian population of the Philippines, mostly Roman Catholics and Aglipayans, always holds this tradition at heart.

Father Juan Caboboy, FALW’s spiritual adviser will officiate the Holy Mass. He has been instrumental in the way to celebrate the coming of the “Prince of Peace.”

This Simbang Gabi celebration is the biggest Christmas event for Filipinos around the world. It is a time for reminiscing about memories people had with their families back home. After the celebration of the Holy Mass, there will be a traditional dinner for all to enjoy. All are welcome to attend.
