Seal Beach’s annual Christmas Parade is Dec. 6

The 46th annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade will be held Friday, Dec. 6, on Main Street from 7-9 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Superhero Christmas,” organized by the Seal Beach Lions Club. The parade will feature 84 groups with 2,900 participants, including local businesses, churches, youth groups, life guards, policemen, veterans, boy scouts and girl scouts, local schools, dance teams, volunteer groups and the man of the season: Santa Claus.

Parking can be challenging so people are encouraged to arrive early. Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to watch the parade. Many local restaurants offer good views as well.
