Faith Christian Assembly

“Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people,’” Luke 2:10.

The word for glad tidings is also translated from the original language as “gospel” i.e., good news. When the church is true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it brings the angelic message of good tidings of great joy.

In Psalm 100:2, believers are called to “serve the Lord with gladness—come before His presence with singing!” This the way Christians should enter into God’s courts. This type of gladness should be a reality in the life of a Christian. St. Therese is quoted as saying, “May you always experience the joy that comes from putting Christ at the center of your lives”.

If this gladness isn’t already a reality in life, it can be. Psalm 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life; In your presence is fullness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Faith Christian Assembly’s Sunday Service time is 10:30 a.m. The Wednesday Bible study is held in the main sanctuary at 11 a.m. The Bible study will not meet on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.
