After completing a hugely popular and successful Turkey Shoot on Nov. 16, it’s time for Shuffleboard Club members to sign up for the club holiday party, potlucks for the party and winter league play.

All sign-up sheets are now available at the courts. The holiday party will be Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Winter league signups have begun but will close Dec. 14. Space is limited in both Tuesday and Friday leagues to 35 members each. Tuesday evening league begins on Jan. 7 and ends on March 11. Friday morning league begins on Jan. 10 and ends on March 14. Those who haven’t participated in fall league play, winter time is an especially good time of the year to be involved in an indoor sport to socialize and have fun.

There were 38 people in attendance at the Turkey Shoot and three prize winners. Sandy Bush took top prize, followed by Harold Morehead and Teri James for second and third. The Shuffleboard Club wishes all Leisure World residents a very happy Thanksgiving.
