Meals on Wheels of Long Beach, Inc., delivers freshly cooked meals for $11.50 per day Monday-Friday, between 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Deliveries include an 8-ounce carton of 1% milk. Beef Stroganoff with egg noodles, peas and onions, zucchini medley, banana, chicken salad sandwich with spinach and tomato, and homemade macaroni salad.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
Beef teriyaki, brown rice, Asian vegetables, seasoned corn, apple sauce with cinnamon, kale chicken salad with shredded brussel sprouts, dried cranberries, balsamic dressing and crackers.
Wednesday, Dec. 4
Roasted pork loin with honey mustard sauce, mashed sweet potatoes, seasoned broccoli, orange, turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and pickle, and creamy coleslaw.
