LW Korean Community Church
Leisure World Korean Community Church (LWKCC) will hold a revival meeting titled “Wake Up,” with special guest speaker, Missionary Heo Bong-rang.
All are invited to attend the revival meeting, where Bongrang will present a sermon titled “Second Coming and Judgment” on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m.
The following Sunday, Dec. 15, will be an “Attitude of Service” at 11:45 a.m.
Despite being 80 years old, missionary Heo is currently traveling around the world, including the United States, China, Japan, Russia, Southeast Asia, and South America, preaching the Gospel, and is leaving her mark as a representative female revivalist in Christian history.
She says that the secret to her 60 years of ministry is “positive thinking.” Bong-rang says that she acts with faith because God is responsible for everything. When she leads a meeting at an old age and is not feeling well, she says, “I believe that God will heal me,” and when she is sick for a long time, she says, “I think that when I die, I will go to heaven.”
LWKCC holds a Sunday worship at the sanctuary every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. with a mission to “plant God’s will in the ground.” Early morning prayer service are held at the sanctuary at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday and are led by the senior pastor, Dr. Jang Young Yong.
The church is located by St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place. For more information, call 714-323-0897 or email yongjang10@ gmail.com.
