The joy of the Christmas season is starting to build as Pastor Chuck Franco begins a series of sermons that will bring focus back to the truth of Jesus coming into the world for the LW Assembly of God congregation.
Luke 1:37 proclaims “Nothing is Impossible with God.” This truth goes beyond the traditional Christmas theme and affirms God’s magnificent power and his purpose for the future. Things that are impossible in one’s own efforts are possible with God. Begin the Christmas season with a fresh reminder of the miracle of restoration and redemption that Jesus’ birth began.
The Wednesday Bible study group will look at the second session, titled “The Hope,” from the Jason Turner series “The Unexpected.” The spirit withers without hope. The greatest hope for the world was born in a stable and lay in a manger, a very unlikely place to house the savior. The class views a short, inspirational teaching video and then is led in guided discussion by Pastor Chuck.
LW Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
