Hui O Hula Hawaiian Dance Club

Dancers are grateful for the opportunity to dance to live music and shared a meaningful and ono (delicious) meal together after class practice. Anyone who is interested in learning the Hawaiian hula is welcome. Hui O Hula offers traditional hula lessons twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Both classes start at 1 p.m. Tuesday’s class is held upstairs in Clubhouse 6; and on Thursday dancers meet at Veterans Plaza or in a room inside Clubhouse 3. During this holiday season, anyone who would like to express Christmas cheer through a hula performance should call 562-431-2242.

The club wishes a big mahalo to Harry "Hap" Pedigo (left, above birthday cake) for treating the entire Hui O Hula family, including its house band musicians Kapakahi (right back), to a wonderful Thanksgiving meal on his birthday.
