‘Step into Christmas’ is club’s holiday show theme
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL CLUB
“Step into Christmas” is the theme for the Let the Good Times Roll Club’s holiday show and dance on Saturday, Nov. 30, in Clubhouse 2.
Those who are especially fond of holiday music are invited to join the festivites and listen to holiday specials like “Winter Wonderland,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Marshmallow World” and “Santa Baby.”
Performers include club members Carmen Edwards, David Noble, Dotti Herdman, Elizabeth Butterfield, Erika Greenwood, Jim Farr, Joan Rosenberg, Martha Destra, Susan Kelleghan and William Young. Josie Del Pino will make the introductions and Jenny Lambert will perform dances with William Young to accompany some songs.
The decoration committee led by Sharon Knutson and Denise Shea will have Clubhouse 2 sparkling in red and green.
The Legends of Rock will provide rock and roll songs for dancing and listening until 9:15 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6.
Refreshment chair Elizabeth Butterfield will provide cookies, coffee, ice and cups. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and snacks.
There is no admission but donations for the club and band are appreciated. All are welcome.
