RSVP for Thanksgiving meal by Nov. 21

Today, Nov. 21, is the last day to RSVP for a free Thanksgiving dinner courtesy of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce. Those interested should call 562-799-0179 to RSVP.

The annual event meant to provide meals for those who are in need or can’t be with friends and family for the holiday.

The event will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, with bingo at 11 a.m. and dinner at noon at St. Anne’s Church, located at 340 10th St., Seal Beach. Everything provided, from the plastic utensils to the baked turkey, is donated by restaurants and community members.

Those who RSVP should mention whether they need transportation to the church, which can be set up for them.

People are also encouraged to bring canned food for donation.
