Indie drama film screening is Dec. 5
LW LIBRARY
The Leisure World Library will host a screening for writer and actor Steve Howard, a Mutual 1 resident, and director Thomas Zoeschg’s film “Every Night and Every Day” at Clubhouse 4 on Dec. 5 at 3 p.m.
The art house drama finds lead character Hank in the midst of two relationships— one, a failing marriage, and another a budding love.
Hank finds out that life can get even more complicated when his wife Linda’s son dies from an overdose. Linda, grief-stricken, demands Hank drive her to see her son’s body and together they embark on a road trip where personal truths and altering perspectives are uncovered.
After the one-hour and 18-minute film concludes, Howard and Zoeschg will speak about the making of the film and engage the audience in a question-and-answer session.
This film has not been rated by the MPAA, but the film makers believe it would likely be rated PG-13 or a very light R for violence, language and suggestive themes. Viewer discretion is advised. A trailer for the film can viewed online at tinyurl. com/mvbm3hb3.
Arrive as early as 2:30 p.m. to find the best seating and enjoy light refreshments provided by the library.
