LW Pool League

In the Wednesday pool league, The Predators beat Pink Champagne 8-5. It was a team effort for The Predators with Paul Shellenberger, George Gordon and Wild!Fire Christensen all winning four games.

The Misfits also won 8-5 against The Hummers. Millie Larsen of The Misfits won six games. She only lost her eight ball singles match.

The Officer’s Club clinched first place by winning 9-4 over The Sharks. Connie Terry of The Officer’s Club had that rare perfect night, winning all seven of her games.

During Monday league, The Snipers beat The Cue Crew 8-5. Gary Snow, The Snipers’ A player, won five games, including all his doubles games.

The Russtlers edged The Favorites 7-6 with Jennifer Spinder winning five games, including both of her singles.

The Renegades beat Palo de Villar 8-5. Brian Tivnan, of The Renegades, completed his singles matches with a record of 17 wins and three losses, which earns him the best singles record in either league.

The regular 10-week season ended with The Snipers in first place; The Russtlers, second; The Favorites, third; and Palo de Villar, fourth. Next Monday night the first place team will play the fourth place team in eight ball. The winner of that match will play the winner of the second and third teams match. The winner of those playoffs will meet the winner of the Wednesday night league playoffs.
