Community Church

Those who are feeling sad or scared for the future are welcome to join Community Church for service on Sunday, Nov. 17. Community Church believes that God is love, God is the source of all love in the world, and that love can move mountains when people come together in love. This Sunday the church will continue in the season of extended Advent to look at what believers are called to do in the name of love.

Worship is on Sundays at 9:50 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshments. People are welcome to come early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. All are welcome.

Community Church meets at 14000 Church Place in Leisure World. LWers are welcome to come to see what the “friendly church” is all about.

Duo Syncopa will perform the music of Franz Schubert, Béla Bartók, Amy Beach, and Richard Strauss at this Sunday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m., for more information, see page 10.
