Seniors For Peace

Seniors For Peace will meet today, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, to share some thoughts and feelings about a very contentious election season and then watch a lighthearted movie for some sorely needed stress relief.

The 1993 film “Dave” starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver and directed by Ivan Reitman will be screened. “Dave” is very Capra-esque, bringing to mind “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,” but with a modern and lighter feel. It’s got everything needed right now humor, romance and optimism. Popcorn will be served at the meeting.
