Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County remains open at its temporary location at OCFA Fire Station No. 48, 3131 North Gate Road, Seal Beach. It will remain open Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon, for anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis and come with 1% milk. LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 7
Baked tilapia with ranchera sauce, broccoli, Mexican rice, whole grain tortilla, sugar-free pudding and orange juice.
Friday, Nov. 8
Roast beef with mushroom gravy, baby baked potatoes, chef’s cut vegetable blend, dinner roll with Smart Balance and apple pie or fresh fruit (diet).
Monday, Nov. 11
No service. Closed in observance of Veterans Day.
Tuesday, Nov. 12
Chicken pasta with poppy seed dressing, spring mix with balsamic dressing, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and fresh orange.
Wednesday, Nov. 13
Salisbury steak with gravy, winter vegetables, sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread with Smart Balance and canned peaches.
