In LW Pool League Wednesday action, The Misfits beat Pink Champagne 10-3. Ray Friedrichsen won six games for The Misfits and teammates Ron Kennedy and Millie Larsen won five.

The Hummers beat The Sharks 9-4. The Sharks won five of their six singles games. Rusty Aquino, The Hummers’ A player, led The Hummers with six wins.

The Monday league’s The Snipers maintained their league lead by beating The Renegades 9-4, despite having two of their regular players out. Fortunately there are subs who are good players and are willing to step in when needed. Gary Monahan led The Snipers with six wins.

Palo de Villar edged the Russtlers 7-6 by winning the final eight ball game. Roy Mittlestead led Palo de Villar with six wins and won both of his singles matches.

The Favorites beat The Cue Crew 9-4 to move into a tie for second place with The Russtlers. The Favorites won all six of their singles matches.

There’s only one more week in the regular season for the Monday league. The top three teams will make the playoffs in both leagues.
