At the Wednesday pool league, The Officer’s Club extended its league lead by beating The Hummers 10-3. The Officer’s Club now holds an 11 game lead over the second place Sharks. Steve Edrich only lost the final eight-ball game, where everyone on both teams played. Teammate John Barth won five games, including both of his singles matches.

The Sharks beat Pink Champagne 8-5. Ruffy Ramos and Brian Burke led The Sharks with five wins each. There are still three weeks left in the season for Wednesday teams and The Sharks should make the playoffs, but catching the first place Offi cer’s Club is a tall order.

The Misfits beat The Predators 8-5. C player Millie Larsen of The Misfits had a big night winning six games, while teammate Ray Friedrichsen won five.

During week eight of the Monday league, The Snipers took a commanding lead by beating the second place Favorites 10-3. Gary Monahan of The Snipers had that rare perfect golden night winning all seven of his games. Teammate Phuoc Tran won six games and both of his singles. The Russtlers won over The Renegades 8-5. This moved The Russtlers into second place behind The Snipers. Kurt Bourhenne of The Russtlers won both of his singles matches and five games.

Palo de Villar beat The Cue Crew 9-4. Oddly enough there were no close 7 to 6 matches in either league. Roy Mittlestead, Paul Ivanoff and Cory Navarate each won five games for Palo de Villar.
