Enjoy ballroom dance on Election Night

DANCERS & MIXERS CLUB

The Dancers & Mixers Dance Club will hold a free ballroom dance on Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Clubhouse 4 from 7-9 p.m.

In years past, the Orange County Registrar had exclusive use of the clubhouse for voting on election night, forcing the club to reschedule. The new situation is a definite improvement.

“Regardless of who wins the election, we’ll be dancing,” LWer John Hlavac said. “So we’ll be the big winners.”

Partners aren’t necessary as there is always a mixer and some line dancing, but the club welcomes everyone who enjoys dancing and socializing.

Dances feature music performed live by Linda Herman, whose repertoire is extensive and whose music is optimized for dancing. It seems like the music never stops.

Dancing is a great way to get in a little exercise and meet people. People are encouraged to bring their own beverages and snacks. For more information call 562-431-1257.
