Pop-Up Vote Center coming to LW Oct. 27
GENERAL ELECTION
The Golden Rain Foundation, in conjunction with the Orange County Registrar of Voters, has arranged a one-day Pop-Up Vote Center on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the parking lot near Clubhouse 6 for voters who prefer to vote in person. The center will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. At the pop-up, people can register to vote, drop off vote-by-mail ballots, vote accessibly and inperson, get replacement ballots and receive other kinds of voter assistance.
“My team and I are committed to ensuring that voting and elections are conducted in an open and transparent manner with integrity that increases the public’s trust and confidence in elections in Orange County,” said OC Registrar of Voters Bob Page.
In addition to the drop-box option located at the Amphitheater bus turn around, which opened Oct. 7, residents, employees, contractors, and any O.C. voter who is onsite that day can utilize the Vote Center to cast ballots or benefit from these services, but it is open to the general public.
The GRF Transportation Department will provide regular and on-call bus service throughout the day. Call a ride at 562-431-6586, ext. 2372.
All voters should have received a vote by mail ballot for the presidential election. For more information, call 714-567-7600 or visit ocvote.com.
