LW Pool League

On Oct. 9, The Officer’s Club of the LW Pool Club widened its Wednesday league lead to nine games by beating Pink Champagne 11-2. Steve Edrich and John Barth of The Officer’s Club each scored six points and won both their singles games. Teammate Connie Terry won five games in a big night for The Officer’s Club. With only four weeks left in the regular season, they will be hard to catch. However, anything can happen in the playoffs.

The Predators beat The Hummers 10-3 to move into second place. WildFire! Christensen had a perfect night winning all seven of her games. Christensen has been on a roll, winning the C tournament and then following it up with a perfect league night.

The Sharks nipped The Misfits 7-6. Brian Burke and Chandra Patel each won four games for The Sharks.

On Oct. 14, the Monday league lead changed hands as The Snipers beat the Russtlers 9-4. Gary Snow, the A player for The Snipers, led the way with five wins.

The Favorites edged Palo de Villar 7-6. Dave Silva, Steve Mitchell and Susan Dodson each won four games for The Favorites. The Favorites are in second place two games behind The Snipers.

The Renegades won over The Cue Crew 9-4. Brian Tivnan of The Renegades won six games, including both singles matches.
