Life is Chocolate

The countenance of life is varied.

Amongst the many chunks of chocolate in See’s Candies, The milk chocolate especially catches my eye.

All donning the same maroon attire and sitting deep, Like personae waiting to be called.

Each time called, they leap onto the stage, Revealing their inner selves. Mostly chosen, sometimes rejected.

Each has its own role, Just as the hidden flavors differ.

But together, they create an arty play scene. When faced with a rock, it must be crushed, Onetime, struggling in sticky swamps, Sweetness carries joy, melting slowly brings ecstasy. While we share with each other, Savoring every moment and experience of life, The box gradually empties.
