LW residents an vote at a pop-up Vote Center on Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Clubhouse 6 parking lot from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. In addition, the Seal Beach Vote Center located at the fire station on the North Gate Road will be open Saturday, Nov. 2–Monday, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., as well as from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 5.
Democrats and supporters seeking more information about the candidates or the propositions on the ballot before voting can visit the club’s hospitality and voter information booth. The booth, located in the Clubhouse 6 parking lot, will be open today, Oct. 24, from 10:30 a.m.12:30 p.m., as well as on every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to Election Day.
Yard signs will be available at the booth for the following candidates:
• Frances Marquez for OC Board of Supervisors.
• Harris/Walz for president and vice-president.
• Dave Min for the U.S. House of Representatives.
• Matt Bragman for school board trustee area 5.
• Farnaz Pardasani for school board trustee area 4.
Voters who have not already submitted their mail-in ballot and want to change their vote on any of the candidates or propositions can do so by marking a line through the already chosen box and filling in the correct box. Use black ink. Do not initial. Make sure the ballot is not torn and that it does not have any other markings on it. The outside envelope should be signed before mailing the ballot or putting it in the drop box in front of the Amphitheater.
The Democratic Club’s next membership meeting has been tentatively postponed to the first Wednesday in December. Adam Schiff has been invited to be the keynote speaker on the topic “Where do we go from here?”
