Community Garden Waitlist

The Community Gardens are blooming and would-be gardeners are invited to visit the Leisure World website, www.lwsb.com, to sign up. Find the Community tab, then choose Community Garden Waitlist and complete the online form.

When a garden space is available, applicants will receive a letter from the Recreation Department.

Gardening is an enriching activity. Susanna Kiely of Mutual 2 said, “I love to go up to the LWSB Community Gardens and meet other gardeners and the passerby neighbors who want to see the progress. Having my hands in the dirt, sweat on my brow, the sun on my face and the cool Seal Beach breeze blowing through my hair is all this California girl has ever needed.”
