LW Pool League

The Officer’s Club beat the Sharks 9-4 on Sept. 25 to extend its LW Pool League lead to six games over Pink Champagne. Steve Edrich, John Barth and Connie Terry all won five games for The Officer’s Club.

Pink Champagne won big over The Predators 9-4 to move into second place. All of The Predators’ wins were in singles matches. Shery Wells and Connie Adkins both won five games for Pink Champagne.

The Misfits edged The Hummers 7-6 by winning the final eight-ball game. Ray Fredrichsen and Milly Larsen each won five games. Rusty Aquino won five games in a losing cause for The Hummers.

On Monday night, the pool league was halfway through its regular season schedule. Every team has now played every other team once.

The Favorites edged The Russtlers 7-6. However, The Russtlers are in first place three games ahead of The Favorites. John Barth led The Favorites with five wins.

The Cue Crew had its best night by beating The Snipers 8-5. Bruce Pettys had five wins for The Cue Crew, and teammates Cornel Sneeks and Guta Basner each won four.

The Renegades had a narrow win over Palo de Vilar 7-6. Ren Villenueva and George Gordon both won four games for The Renegades.
