Hui O Hula

Hui O Hula dancers performed as a part of the entertainment at the Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club’s annual picnic on Sept. 24, at the picnic grounds near Clubhouse 1.

In addition to island music and dance, Rollin’ Thunder Club members enjoyed ono grindz (delicious local food). “It was lovely all around,” said picnic attendee Betty Vander Wal. “Excellent food, lovely music, and a beautiful hula performance as always.”

Hula classes are held twice weekly. On Tuesdays, class is held upstairs in the mirrored dance room in Clubhouse 6 at 1:15 p.m. On Thursdays, class is held outside on Veterans Plaza, also at 1:15 p.m. In case of inclement weather, class is held inside Clubhouse 3.
