Distribution of vote-by-mail ballots for the 2024 General Election to all registered voters began earlier this week. All registered LW Democrats and no preferred party voters have by now received a letter from the club’s board of directors containing voter recommendations. Residents are encouraged to vote as early as possible and to use the ballot drop box located in the Amphitheater parking lot. For those who want to vote in person, vote centers throughout the county will be open Nov. 2.

Democrats and supporters seeking more information about the propositions that will be on this ballot are invited to attend the club’s voter education session in Clubhouse 3, Room 3, on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by the committee chair, Bev Bender. RSVP is not required; but more information is available by calling 562-594-9148 or emailing Beverleybender@gmail.com.

Additional voter assistance will be available at the club’s hospitality and voter information booth located in the parking lot outside Clubhouse 6 every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in October and on Election Day, Nov. 5.
