American Latino Club

The American Latino Club will meet today, Oct. 10, from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The theme will be Halloween. There will be a prize for the best costume.

The country of the month will be El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America. The national dish is the delicious pupusa, a thick griddle cake or flatbread made with cornmeal or rice flour, filled with meat, beans, cheese or vegetables, that are griddled until golden brown and crisp. The program will cover this beautiful country in Central America through an interesting video and discussion.
