Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members are welcome.

The club met on all four Wednesdays in October. The members combined for 59 scores above 300, 10 of which were higher than 400. There were 39 bingos—the use of all seven tiles in one move.

Larry Edgar and Jim Schneiderrman led with 10 scores above 300 each. Edgar had four bingos, a high total of 437, and one other score above 400. Schneiderman had two bingos. His best game was a 400.

Diane Seeger had nine totals above 300, three bingos, and a high score of 418. Bob Ruderman topped 300 eight times, the best of which was a 402. He had 14 bingos.

Maria Giegerich exceeded 300 five times. Her best score was a 393. Myrna Loscuadro bettered 300 four times, the best of which was a 360. She had one bingo.

Marilyn Moody and Donna Perkins posted scores of 403 and 332, respectively. Perkins had one bingo.
