Pet blessing will be held on Oct. 9

Holy Family Catholic Church (next to St. Andrews Gate) invites LWers to participate in daily masses at 8:30 a.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon.
Holy Family’s Walk4Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. The walk will be from St. Hedwig Church, to Precious Life Shelter. Those interested in walking, or to give donations to the walkers for the Precious Life Shelter, contact Pro-Life Coordinator Jeanette Barreras at 562-240-5422.
In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, LW pet owners are welcome to attend a pet blessing on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church. The Minibus will make an exception in transporting pets on this day. Usually, pets are not allowed on buses. Pets will be allowed on buses if they are in carriers and do not disturb other passengers. Pets must be in carriers ;no leashes or lap sitting.
