Wednesday night pool league teams are extremely close after three weeks. There is a three-way tie for first place between the Sharks, Predators and the Officer’s Club, at 22 wins and 17 losses. The last place team is only six games out of first place.

The Misfits edged Pink Champagne 7-6. The teams were tied going into the final three player eight ball game. Ron Kennedy and Milly Larsen each scored four points for the Misfits.

The Hummers beat the Sharks 8-5. Rusty Aquino won five games for the Hummers including both of his singles matches. Teammate Linda Patton won four games for the Hummers.

The Officer’s Club won 7-6 over The Predators. Steve Edrich and John Barth each won four games for the Officer’s Club. This was another close match decided by the final eight ball game.

On Monday night the Russtlers edged Palo de Villar 7-6 to hold on to a four game lead over The Snipers and The Favorites. The teams split their singles matches, but the Russtlers won four doubles matches. Russell Black and Jennifer Spindler won four games each for the Russtlers.

The Snipers beat the Renegades 8-5. It was a team effort for the Snipers with Gary Snow, Gary Monahan and Phuoc Tran all winning four games.

The Favorites kept close to the lead by beating the Cue Crew 8-5. Steve Mitchell won five games for The Favorites, including both of his singles. Susan Dodson, of The Favorites, made a long shot in the corner on the eight ball to win the final game of the night.
