Fall Festival will feature live music, face painting and emergency info

The GRF Fall Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Clubhouse 6. The LW Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Club, in conjunction with the Security Department and several safety groups and vendors, will demonstrate what is new in emergency preparedness.

Stone Soul, which brought down the house at the Amphitheater this season, will perform. The eight-piece hornblowing, foot-stomping classic soul and Motown tribute band has built a reputation as one of the hardest-working, most entertaining bands in the genre. They’ll have people dancing to hits from Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Otis Redding and more.

A variety of refreshments will be offered by Koffel’s Food Truck at modest prices, including a special taco grill. The Theater Club will be on hand for complimentary face painting for all the young at heart.

Shuttle service will be available from Clubhouse 4’s parking lot and people are encouraged to park and ride.
