Cribbage Club’s Barbara Wheeler earns a star

The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Each week refreshments are served from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5 and $1 is collected from each player weekly. Those finishing with the top four scores are awarded prize money the following week. A total of seven games are played each week and new players are always welcome.

Susan Dodson and Ruth Bonnema celebrated their birthdays by providing and serving cake and ice cream to everyone. Melinda Cowan also provided mixed nuts and candies.

The winners for the week include: Barbara Wheeler, first place with a perfect score of 847 and winning her first star; Grace Holdaway, 825, second; Ruth Bonnema, 821, third; Dale Quinn, 817, fourth.
