The Impaired Vision and Hearing Club

The Impaired Vision and Hearing Club will resume its monthly meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. All residents are invited to attend. Dr. Bruce Vircks, Au.D. will be a guest speaker. Dr. Vircks completed his training at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Arizona School of Health Sciences in Phoenix. He completed his fellowship in audiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, and later practiced for 35 years as director of audiology at Wolfe Clinic in Marshalltown and West Des Moines, Iowa. He also served on the board of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and was elected president in 2011.
