Assembly of God

When traversing uncertain and treacherous terrain, many experienced, professional guides will instruct followers to step in the footsteps the leader has left. This protects travelers from falling into hidden holes, getting lost in thick brush or other dangers. Following that way is not easy. Sometimes the stride length is uncomfortable. Sometimes the footprints lead through difficult passageways, up steep inclines or down loose slopes. But no matter how the path appears, the follower can be sure that the leader has gone before them, and the path has been proven. Following Jesus is much the same. Unpredictable perils are common in life. But those who put their faith in and follow Jesus are sure of the eventual outcome. Pastor Dan Wilderman shares from Mark 8:34 this Sunday, “Following.”
