LW Korean Community Church sponsors the Golden Age Foundation’s Walk & Roll-A-Thon
Leisure World Korean Community Church (LWKCC) sponsored the Golden Age Foundation’s (GAF), Walk & Roll-A-Thon, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m.
Elder Henry Kim, Senior Pastor Yong Jang-young, elder Yoo Jeong-hoon and elder Hyo Su Kim presented GAF President Anna Derby a $1,000 during its picnic with over 200 members attending.
The Walk and Roll-A-Thon. It was originally held in 1997 to raise money for the GAF while encouraging the health and well-being of the community.
LWKCC moved to Leisure World in 2017 and has supported the Golden Age Foundation every year since.
LWKCC celebrated its 14th anniversary in March by inviting Senior Pastor Lee Yong-nam of Seoul Jangseok Church to speak at its outdoor service.
LW Korean Community Church holds services every Sunday starting at 11:50 a.m. in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place.
The church also holds an early morning prayer service Tuesday-Saturday, at 6 a.m., led by the Senior Pastor Yong Jang-Young in the sanctuary.
