South Side Jazz to perform on Mutual 7 greenbelt

South Side Jazz will perform on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 4:30 p.m., at the Central Park in Mutual 7.
The band performs a collection of classics from the golden era of jazz, namely the 1920s-1950s. Among its favorites were “I’ve Heard That Song Before” by Helen Forrest, “A Foggy Day” by Ella Fitzgerald and “As Time Goes By” by Frank Sinatra.
South Side Jazz began as a husband-and-wife duo, Jeremy and Lisa Taylor. They were joined by Craig Jaunzemis on saxophone, Dan Gonzalez on bass and Tony “TBurd” Burris on drums.
People are encouraged to bring beach chairs, beverages and snacks for themselves.
