Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon. It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis and come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 5
Chicken meatballs with sweet citrus glaze, oriental vegetable blend, quinoa pilaf and fresh orange.
Friday, Sept. 6
Tinga chicken, California vegetable blend, cilantro lime rice, whole grain tortilla, sugar-free pudding and ambrosia.
Monday, Sept. 9
Chicken breast with parmesan and sun-dried tomato sauce, carrots, tricolor pasta, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and tropical fruit mix.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
Barbacoa beef, Oregon bean medley, cilantro lime rice, whole grain tortilla and fresh orange.
Wednesday, Sept. 11
Tuna salad, corn, lima beans and tomato salad, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and mandarin orange.
