How to Donate: Seal Beach Animal Care Center
The Seal Beach Animal Care Center will collect donations and pet supplies at the Sept. 5 Amphitheater show from 6-8 p.m. Those who donate will be entered into raffles for gift cards to Target, Home Goods and California Pizza Kitchen. All proceeds will go to the animals in the care of this no-kill, nonprofit shelter.
Volunteers will accept cash for vet bills and specific dog, cat and shelter items. Those items include: For dogs: Science Diet dry dog food (Small Bites and adult), Science Diet canned food (chicken flavor), squeaky and strong chewer dog toys, pill pockets, 4- and 6-inch nylon dog leashes, Kuranda Shelter beds.
For cats: Friskies canned cat food and kitten Fancy Feast, Purina One Sensitive Systems dry cat food, Purina kitten dry, sWheat scoop cat litter, any clay unscented non-clumping litter, cardboard cat scratchers.
General shelter items: gift cards to Amazon, PetSmart, Petco and Chewy, postage stamps, Ziplock food storage backs in quart and gallon sizes, 8 oz disposable drinking cups, trash bags in 45-, 39, 33 and 13 gallon sizes, paper towels, bathroom tissue, chlorine bleach 6%, hand sanitizer, photo paper for ink jet printers, toner cartridges (TN 880), white copy paper, and aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles (empty and bagged separately for recycling).
