Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” This is about peace with God, peace of conscience, peace at all times and under all events. This peace comes to the one that has such confidence in God, that they will not be agitated by trials.
Peace is dependent on a couple of things that fall under a believer’s responsibility. This peace comes for those “whose mind is stayed” on God. This is an inward peace and an outward peace; peace with God, peace of conscience.
The question for a believer is, “who am I trusting?” Any answer to this question other than the Lord, means that peace will only last for a moment. But when believers place their trust in God, they will experience that peace that will strengthens forever.
