Duplicate Bridge Club
The Leisure World Duplicate Bridge Club meets on Mondays and Fridays in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Reservations can be made at any game using the sign-up sheets. Players can call Linda Nye at 562-453-6678 or email her at yuelingnye@yahoo.com no later than 10 a.m. on game day. Arrive by 12:15 to confirm reservations.
Aug. 19 winners (eight tables): Clinton Gorsuch and Sheri Held (60.71%), and Sibyl Smith and Diane Schmitz (58.33%), north/ south; Jeanette Estill and Ron Lee (56.55%), and Judith Jones and Al Appel (52.68%), east/west.
Aug. 23 winners (six tables): Larry Topper and Lynn Danielson (58.63%), and Sibyl Smith and Diane Schmitz (57.89%), north/ south; George Alemshah and Marilyn McClintock (58.81%), and Norma Kruegar and Fay Beckerman (50.52%), east/west.
