Learn about Project 2025 Sept. 5

SENIORS FOR PEACE

The Seniors For Peace Club will meet Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, to share in-depth knowledge of Project 2025, written by The Heritage Foundation, that reflects the conservative and right-wing wish list for the future of the United States. Three speakers will each discuss various sections of the 900 page document, explaining how they could affect the U.S. if enacted.

Jeff Mulqueen of Mutual 1 will talk about sections about education, health and the environment. During his 38 year career in education, he progressed through the ranks from high school science teacher to school administrator to ultimately superintendent of schools.

Carole Damoci will cover the sections on justice. She is a 14-year resident of Mutual 12 and is a past president of the Golden Age Foundation, the GRF and the Historical Society. Damoci has degrees in history and is an eight-year Army veteran.

Club President Pat Kruger will cover Social Security and finance. Kruger, from Mutual 9, is a retired social worker with a career-long view of social inequities. She has a lifelong commitment to fairness and equality and a firm belief in the necessity of good government to help with solutions.

For more information, call Pat Kruger at 562-357-4040.
