New gate officers to join GRF team

Four GRF Security officers have recently been promoted to a new job category, gate operations officer. They are Donald Dunbar, Jason Grant, Joseph Lafata and Emily Moran.

The employees will be stationed at Leisure World’s three gates to facilitate RFID entries, which requires scanning and issuing passes among other tasks.

This is another step in finetuning the new gate access system to make sure people can easily access the community. There will be a total of 10 gate operations officers once hiring is complete.

This is one of several steps to make sure the gate access system is operating as smoothly as possible for everyone. To that end, the Main Gate was recently reconfigured to ban cross traffic, which has alleviated backed ups at the busy entrance.
