LW Korean Community Church
LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC), led by Senior Pastor Dr. Jang-Young Yong, will hold the seventh annual Friends Outdoor Worship Service at the Clubhouse 1 Picnic Area on Sunday, Sept. 1, at 10:30 a.m.
Ahead of Korea’s traditional Chuseok, LWKCC invites friends to the outdoors for Sunday worship. Pastor Yong Jang-Young will sing Psalm 23, “The Lord will tell the word of my shepherd.” The LWKCC choir will sing “Into the Garden of the Lord” under the direction of Music Pastor Kim Gyu-sam.
After the service, the church will take a commemorative photo of all members and have a barbecue party (including 250 pounds of ribs) with friends. Members of LW Community Church are also welcome to join.
To commemorate the 14th anniversary of the church’s founding, 33 people will visit the Holy Land (Greece and Turkey) from Sept. 2-14, led by the senior pastor.
On Oct. 6, the LWKCC choir will participate in the 10th Siloam Eye Hospital Charity Concert for the Visually Impaired held at Naseong Yeongrak Church. A total of 10 teams will compete in the event.
As a nesting church of Community Church, LWKCC strives to fulfill its mission of “a church that plants God’s will on the ground.” In particular, the church would like to express its deep gratitude to all the members who have been loved by the neighbors within Leisure World for the past even years and have continued to grow healthily with a happy church life.
LWKCC holds a Sunday worship in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place every Sunday at 11:50 a.m.
