Seal Beach City Manager Jill Ingram will retire after a 16-year tenure with the City of Seal Beach, the city announced Aug. 13.

During her nearly two decades working with the City of Seal Beach, she served as assistant to the city manager, assistant city manager and interim city manager before becoming city manager in 2011.

The City Council has accepted Ingram’s resignation and has approved a separation and release agreement.

In a statement, the council said it “thanks Ms. Ingram for her long and dedicated service to the City and wishes her well in her retirement.”

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the Seal Beach community for the past 16 years,” Ingram said. “Working alongside the hardest working and most dedicated team of experienced professionals to provide the highest level of services and programs to the Seal Beach community each day has been an absolute blessing, and I wish many continued successes for the City and its incredibly talented and dedicated staff team.”

The City Council will begin the process of selecting a new City Manager in the near future.
