Local cat’s birthday party will support feline nonprofit

Seal Beach nonprofit Helen Sanders CatPAWS will hold a seventh birthday party for local feline Benny on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Marina Community Center, 151 Marina Drive, Seal Beach.
The purpose of the celebration is to fundraise for the CatPAWS team, which rescues and rehabilitates cats and kittens in the local community.
The event will feature a vendor fair, lunch, games, prizes, arts and crafts, face painting, adoptable kittens and cake. Tickets are $20 and children 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at www.helensanderscatpaws. com.
