Duplicate Bridge Club
The Leisure World Duplicate Bridge Club meets on Mondays and Fridays in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Reservations can be made at any game using the sign-up sheets. Players can call Linda Nye at 562-453-6678 or email her at yuelingnye@yahoo.com no later than 10 a.m. on game day. Arrive by 12:15 to confirm reservations.
Aug. 5 winners (eight tables): Beth Matheny and Lavonne McQuilkin (58.04%), and Howard Smith and Fay Beckerman (53.57%), north/south; Jeanette Estill and Ron Lee (67.86%), and Judith Jones and Al Appel (55.65%), east/west.
Aug. 9 winners (seven tables): Bud Parish and Howard Smith (59.23%), and Larry Topper and Lynn Danielson (52.38%), north/ south; Thad Mikols and Marilyn McClintock (58.63%), and Bill Brooks and April Berg (52.98%), east/west.
The club congratulates the winners and thanks all the players who participate and support the club.
